Why go to daycare when you can bring your dog to school?
Just like in high school, your dog will rotate through five subjects: Math, Creative Arts, Science, Social Studies, and Gym. Everyday is filled with new challenges, learning experiences, and fun activities to keep your dog busy and happy all day long. And the best part – your dog gets to show off a new trick or two when you get home.
Built on the success of our kinderPUPS program and based on our urbanK9 training program, let us train your dog to become the well-mannered and confident dog you wish for! Let us do the bulk of the work so you can better enjoy the time with your dog. Graduates of kinderPUPS or dogs over the age of 6 months, will start in dogmaHigh. In this extensive program, the dogs will learn obedience skills such as name attention, recall, sit, down, stay and loose leash walking. Not just a basic training program, we also improve overall manners, handling and self control. The dogs start in Junior High to learn the basics and move onto Senior High to build off of these foundation skils. Through distraction training, we will create reliable and long-lasting training. As always, our program are not just about obedience training. We will work on appropriate play, socialization, crate settling, and so much more! Successful graduation from this program ensures your dog has appropriate social skills, great focus, is attentive, is well-mannered and patient. A true model canine citizen!
After completing dogmaHigh, it is time to develop off-leash skills and take things out to the real world. This level applies all of the skills your dog has learned to date in a typical setting. The dogs have the opportunity to earn degrees in areas such as recall, social skills, handling and off-leash. This is when they are recognized as true urbanK9s; confident and well-mannered dogs that you can take anywhere with confidence in our busy human world!
When your dog has mastered basic obedience, manners, attention, and socialization, an invitation is extended to join the Free Play group! These dogs have earned their free time to romp and play together, monitored by one of our trained team members. It’s fun and exciting for all! *Dogs must meet a set of requirements in order to join dogmaPlay. Upon completion of the assessment, the trainier may require or recommend that your dog is enrolled in a more suitable program to help them achieve the skills to join dogmaPlay.
